Macey's Story
Macey grew up constantly on the move through sport and lots of time spent at the beach. As she got older, her love for staying active evolved into playing oztag and running. Her close relationship with her grandparents sparked a deep interest in the wellbeing of older adults. After finishing school in 2023 and feeling unsure about which direction to take, she began a Bachelor of Nursing before discovering a stronger pull toward exercise, movement, and preventative health. She is now studying a Bachelor of Exercise Science at UOW, driven by a genuine passion for improving the health, independence, and quality of life of older people.
Personal Interests
Outside of work and study, Macey loves spending time with friends and family, staying active in the gym, and getting outdoors whenever she can. She’s passionate about snowboarding and has a growing love for travelling, always looking for her next adventure.
